WORLD WATER DAY

In 1993, the United Nations General Assembly officially designated March 22 as World Water Day. World Water Day is about taking action to tackle the water crisis. The theme for World Water Day 2018 was “Nature for water”, which explored how we can use nature to overcome the water challenges of the 21st century.
Of the 2019 year the World Water Day theme, “Leaving no one behind”, adapts the central promise of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development that states as sustainable development progress, everyone must benefit.
