Proposed construction of wind power plants in the administrative centres of Nemunėlis Radviliškis and Parovėja, Biržai District Municipality, Panevėžys County (February 2026)

UAB „Biržų vėjas” is going to develop an installation of up to 35 wind power plants in  the territories of the Nemunėlio Radviliškis and Parovėja Wards of the Biržai District Municipality in the Panevėžys County. Therefore, an environmental impact assessment of the project has been initiated.

The assessment report has shown that, subject to implementation of the measures to avoid and reduce the negative impact produced by the PEA, no significant negative impact on the neighbouring states, their natural and social environment, and their residents is expected.

Transboundary impact assessment procedures are beeing applied.
