Povilas Poderskis Chancellor of the Ministry of Environment
| Povilas Poderskis serves as Chancellor of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania. He studied Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology and Philosophy at Vytautas Magnus University. He also completed an executive education programme at Harvard Kennedy School. P. Poderskis has experience in public administration, technology, construction sector governance and business management. He served as Minister of Environment in the 19th Government of the Republic of Lithuania and headed the Construction Sector Development Agency. He has also worked as Director of the Vilnius City Municipality Administration, Adviser to the Mayor of Vilnius, lobbyist and Chief Operating Officer at Nord Security. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade working as a freelance web developer and software engineer, specialising in e-commerce and government systems. As Chancellor, P. Poderskis is responsible for administration, strategic management and investment, legal affairs, public procurement and assets. He also oversees the Construction Sector Development Agency, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Environmental Protection Department and the Environmental Projects Management Agency. |
