Viceminister of the Environment

Giedrė Ričkutė has served as Vice-Minister of Environment since July 2026. She previously held the same position in 2024.

G. Ričkutė holds a degree in Law from Mykolas Romeris University. She has also served as Chancellor of the National Land Service, Acting Director of the Service and Head of the Legal and Personnel Division at the Ministry of Environment.

As Vice-Minister, she is responsible for environmental protection and pollution prevention, strategic environmental assessment, environmental monitoring, state environmental control and waste management.
