Asta Rokickienė

Viceminister of the Environment

Asta Rokickienė has served as Vice-Minister of Environment since July 2026.

She is an architect and an expert in spatial planning, architecture and construction policy. Before becoming Vice-Minister, she had more than 20 years of professional experience in architecture, spatial planning and public administration.

She joined the Ministry of Environment in 2018 and, prior to her appointment as Vice-Minister, headed the Architecture and Construction Policy Group. Previously, she served as Chief Architect of Švenčionys District Municipality and worked in the private architecture sector as a project manager and architect.

A. Rokickienė holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Vilnius Academy of Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Vilnius College of Technologies and Design.

As Vice-Minister, she is responsible for construction, architecture and landscape policy, land and spatial planning, housing affordability, and cadastre and spatial data policy.
