Experts and researchers are invited to participate in the ESPON targeted analysis
The Ministry of the Environment announces that the Hungarian Centre for Economic Geography and Urban Marketing at the John von Neumann University of Hungary is initiating a targeted analysis of the ESPON programme titled "Managing New Geographies: factors and opportunities for the socio-economic and spatial development of the Carpathian region." The ministry invites other researchers and experts to collaborate on this project.
The initiative aims to gather data and conduct spatial analysis to address the challenges faced by the Carpathian region, a pivotal area where Europe's strategic political and economic interests converge.
The Centre is well-positioned to contribute to project proposals in various domains, including Hungarian demography, spatial and settlement structure, financial sustainability, ecosystem potential, infrastructure, industrial development policy, heritage protection planning, tourism, capital attraction opportunities, local marketing features, as well as the analysis of talent performance and accessibility. Additionally, the project will explore financing opportunities for start-ups and development operations in Europe and Hungary.
